Trainings
The ABA ROLI Representative Office in Armenia in cooperation with the OSCE Office in Armenia organized a series of trainings in September-October, 2016 on the following topics: RA Criminal Code; ECHR applications and Code of Conduct of Advocates. Advocates, investigators as well as judges participated in those trainings.
The first training was
held on September 9-10, 2016 in Tsaghkadzor on “Crimes against Life and Health”
and “Crimes against Property”. It was conducted by Anna Margaryan (PhD in Law, Associate Professor at the Chair of Criminal
Law of the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University,
a member of the working group developing the draft of the new RA Criminal Code,
advocate). A total of 25 participants attended the training.
The second training was held on September 16-17, 2016 in Kapan on “Code of Conduct of Advocates” and “Crimes against Life and Health”. It was conducted by Anna Margaryan and Melanya Arustamyan (Head of Public Defender’s Office). A total of 30 participants attended the training.
The third training was held on October 8, 2016 in Vanadzor on “ECHR Applications” and “Crimes against Life and Health”. It was conducted by Anna Margaryan and Hayk Alumyan(advocate). A total of 36 participants attended the training.
